Coil slitting is a longitudinal cutting process that uses rotary slitting blades to divide a wide master coil into multiple narrower strips. The process allows stainless steel coil to be supplied in widths that better match stamping, forming, tube production, and other manufacturing requirements.
Our precision slit stainless coil processing supports custom widths from 0.5–300 mm, depending on material thickness, required tolerance, and final application. Standard width tolerances can reach ±0.2 mm, while precision processing can achieve tolerances down to ±0.1 mm under suitable processing conditions.
